Regarding your FAQ No. 8 (SAF):
I’ve been a Bell Mobility customer for 6 or 7 years, recently going back and forth between Prepaid and North American plans (when we travel for 2 months in the US). Upon our return this February, I went to switch back to prepaid and was told I would now be paying a SAF since it was a new account. All new accounts effective this year will be paying SAF. My husband’s Bell Mobility prepaid account, which we put on temporary hold while we were away, does not have to pay it. After 4 unsuccessful attempts to get them to waive this new charge to show appreciation for my customer loyalty over the years, I am now shopping for a new service for myself. I appreciate all the information in your site and will probably give the 7 Eleven phone service a try. If I’m happy, then the next time we head to the US for an extended stay, I’ll pop into a 7 Eleven and buy one for our use there. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that before – would have saved hundreds of dollars. Might be a good piece of advice for your site. We can’t be the only ones that travel!
