I just called 3 stores 7-11 in Mississauga and none has any Nokia 1600 in the store. First guy thought I was asking him about his personal cell phone 🙂 probably he was still sleeping... and said they don't have any phones, the second guy said they will receive new cell phones tonight, third guy simply said they don't have Nokia 1600.
Since all seemed more or less sleepy, it is 5:50 a.m. now, I did not ask them further about deals or pricing 🙂

Yes, Rodger Barratt works for 7-11.
I just emailed customer service and they he was the one who responded (took about 5 days to reply to my question).

MDMM, the deal is on now, you do not have to wait.
$49 for Nokia 1600 with any Speakout Wireless air time purchase, or $25 off any phone with any Speakout Wireless air time purchase.
So, essentially you got $25 free air time when you buy any phone at regular price.
Some stores, like the one on Main St in Brampton, do not have Nokia 1600 in stock though. 😉

So i waited til february for THIS deal? Real crappy when compared to the last deal in December.
Too bad. I was looking forward to switching, now i'll go another route.

It is definitely not as good as the last one, so if you have a cell service already, just wait until the same promo re-appears.
On the other hand, if you need a phone now, it is better than a no promo.

I went into the one on Queen W today in Toronto, and they had a few 1600s in stock and were running the promotion. I'm a proud new owner.

When I called them, the boss did not know that the $100 deal is gone, he told me about it. When I reached the store he start calling somewhere as he could not process it... in the end he said that the actual deal is the $25 one.
To find out the present deal he had to read the big flayer on the door 🙂
Interesting... I got a 289 area code number, last time I got a 905 area code.
