Chatr was cheap but it had two problems...

1. A lot of dropped calls

2. Way too much spam. I got something like five junk texts a day from them. My telling them to stop didn't help. I just want a simple plan with no BS 'sales' etc, just long term good value.

That was five years ago. Maybe things have improved.

I've been with Speakout for 6 months and have not had any spam texts from them.

I've been using speakout for over 10 years and have gotten maybe 4 text spams.
Then again I don't give out the number to anyone except family and friends.
