I was a Speakout user for years. I had the unlimited text/100 min Phone/1GB Data add on which on paper was the cheapest thing available for me. However, no matter how sparingly I used my data (never used video and stuck to text only forum app) I was always going over my 1GB cap. Every month! So I've got a much better phone plan that gives me 5GB of lightning fast LTE data. Guess what? Despite using my data as it should be used, watching occasional video, and not worrying about limits, I am using less data than I ever did at Speakout and I have yet to break the 1GB/month mark? How can this be? The only explanation can be that Speakout is overestimating your data usage.
