Yes, the deal is on. I was just at a 7-Eleven in Vancouver this morning to buy some airtime and they had the promotion as stated -- $25 off any phone with the purchase of any airtime. I didn't actually buy a phone though 😛

buy 3 $25 air times and get $75 off the phone for example?

no, i call one place and you can't combine it. The promotion is $25 off when you buy a phone. Anyone have news about the July Promotion?

the even more disappointing thing is: they don't have nokia 1600 in stock!

Try other stores. Some stores have a bad habit of not having the phones in stock.

I've tried a couple of stores - they have only Nokia 5200 for $150.

I got mine at in Ottawa - Bank and Grove - great choice if going to Europe (unlocked/triband).
$25 off the 5200 for $25 airtime - is a good deal for me

The info for the June promotion is correct. I purchased a Nokia 1600 for $50 on June 1st (regular $75).

I got one too at the Bowness one in Calgary.
The ran out at Varsity and Northmount.
The 7-11 employees weren't that sure of the existance of Speakout... so ask them to look!
The 1600 is not that bad. Tone are pretty cool.

What 7-11 store did you see the promotion - the one in Kerrisdale knows nothing about the June promo.

i just got one at the 7-11 by choices on 16th and macdonald. They have the promo on and actually do know they have phones to boot (i can't believe some dont?)
they hadnt entered the promo rate into the computer yet, so i had to wait for the manager to go do that.

ok, I got one 1600 for $50+TAX at bell str. in Ottawa, the cashier knew this promotion but didn't mention I have to buy a $25 airtime, so I bought a phone only. there are $5 airtime in it, should be good enough for starting.

I just got a 2760 at $125-$25 plus tax, I didn't buy any airtime.

Just picked up the 5200 from Dover Rd 711 in Nanaimo. $25 off. I am finally free of Roger's (well not quite! ha ha!). I even transferred over my old number, no charge! Now all I have to do is a pick up a SIM for my trip to the UK next year.

Just picked up the 5200 from Oshawa, ON. $25 off. They also had the 1600 in stock.

Just got the 1600 and store manager just took $25 off from the phone. I did not buy any airtime.
