New poster to the forum and looking seriously at either 7 Eleven or Petro-Can. Am I reading the grid correctly for 7 Eleven? I live in the 519 area code. Are all calls in the 519/226, 416/647 and 905/289 area codes considered to be local calls for me? If this is true, do the same area codes apply to the Petro-Can system as local calls for me? Thanks for your help.

Yes, calls made to/from those area codes are considered a local call. Read this thread:
I am not sure about Petro Canada's local calling area. Might want to give them a call to see if they have the same calling area.

Thanks iam. That was a quick response. Don't know how I missed the post you provided cause I thought I had been through almost every one of them. Maybe it was a senior poor vision moment. I'll follow up with Petro-Can. Only 3 7 Elevens remain open in the Windsor area.

Does it work the other way around? Like my husband just took our phone to Toronto (416), so if he calls home to Windsor (519) will it be long distance or local?

Calls from area code 416 to area code 519 are considered a local call. It works both ways for the area codes listed in the first post in this thread.

Just talked with SO customer support. Asked her about local calling area for 416, she said 416, 647, 905, 289 only. She said NOT 519! I mentioned your grid, she said she had a copy of 7/11 grid and 519 was not local for 416? She couldn't email me the grid.
Should I email your copy of grid and ask for confirmation?
