I see 7-11's LD rates are 20 + 20 = 40 cents.
Anyone KNOW if Petro can"s Lond Distance rate below is 30 cents total or is it 30 + 20 cents?
Thanks.
ps, As most of you probably know, the workers at petrocan have no idea what so ever about the program or system. I don't know about the 7-11 staff.
Rates
How much do calls cost?
$0.20 per minute for all local calling
$0.30 per minute for all long-distance calling (within Canada and the U.S.)

Actually, Speak Out's log distance rates are 20c/minute plus the regular airtime rate, which is 25c/minute, so 45c/minute. It will be a bit cheaper if you buy a $75 or $100 top-up voucher. Long distance rates for those are 36c/minute. Here's a c & p from the Speak Out site:
"Long Distance
20c/minute (plus regular airtime rates) for long distance calls made within Canada and to the United States."
Petro Canada's long distance rate is 10c/minute plus 20c/minute for the local calling rate, so 30c/minute. Here's a c &p from the Petro Canada Mobility site:
"Long Distance Rates
Call anywhere in the USA or Canada, anytime for just 10รยข per minute in addition to your 20รยข local calling rate, with your no contract cell phone."
