Is it true that there aren't any 416 numbers and you will get a 647 code number from now on?

I know they can switch your number for $10 but they can't guarantee what area code.

So if you are on 647 and you ask for switch you still might end up with a 647 code not 416.

There are still 416 numbers to be had. That area code gets recycled numbers like other area codes.
