I'm sorry. I don't know which formus I should write it on.

Today, I called custmer service to tell refferal code.
That was the first time I talked to a person.

But she said, the refferal code had been already used or something like that. Maybe I can't use that code.
I couldn't understand. because I hadn't called them before
(I mean I reached only machine not a person.)

I hope you understand my poor English..

What was the problem??
Was that a common situation?

Sounds like you just need another referral code. Post a request in the "Referral code requests" forum, receive a new code (within minutes!), call up customer service at 611 and tell them you want to use that new referral code.

How exactly does the referral code work? I just activated my phone and my voicemail. Can I still enter a referral code or did I need to enter it earlier?

You can still request a referral code even though you've activated your phone. You will need a minimum of $25 on your account before you can redeem it though. So just create a brand new post requesting a code (don't forget to include your email address in the post) & someone will send you one fairly quickly. Call 611 (cust svc) from your phone to redeem.

For my case, maybe it was because the CSR didn't check my account balance, I used the referral code without adding any airtime after I activated my phone (in other words, it had only the $5 that came with the activation). I did that last month.
