currently speakout does not have data/internet access on their phone, so ringtone download is not possible. However if you can acquire a DATA CABLE for your phone, you should be able to copy mp3 ringtones to your phone.
note that some phones dont support mp3, my phone supports mp3 (motorola v360) but it has to be up to max 30 seconds long and encoded to less than 128k bitrate.
nice thing about GSM carriers like speakout is that you can easily buy a nice phone and put your current simcard in so that you can always have the same phone account while having the latest phone model.

I have the 2760 and I use Bluetooth to get ringtones onto it. Basically I find an MP3 I like. Then if needed, I edit it using software like Audacity (free for download from here). For whatever reason, despite what the documentation says, the 2760 does not support MP3 ringtones so you have to use the Nokia phone software (available here) to convert the MP3 to AMR format. Then connect the phone using your computer via Bluetooth, copy the file over to your phone, and you're good to go!
Good luck

If you don't fancy downloading and installing new software to your PC another way of creating MP3 ringtones is to use an online service such as http://makeownringtone.com

Lambert,
Have you tried it? Would it lead to further spam messages sent to the cellphone?
