Hi, I have just a couple of cents remaining on my Speakout account which expire in 2011. But as far as I know speakout charges the 911 fee($0.99 earlier and now $1.25) every month to maintain the account.
But I was planning on not using the 7-11 service for 3-4 months in between and hence thinking of not renewing the balance now.

1. What happens if I don't refill my account?
2. How is the 911 fee applied/stored on my account?
3. Does the 911 fee gets accumulated as overdue on my account and comes off all together whenever I refill my account?
4. Can I put hold on my account to avoid the 911 fee being accumulated as over due?

Please explain..:???:

Thanks in advance..

If you don't refill your account, SpeakOut can and will deactivate the account, and deactivate the sim card, rendering it useless.

I think it is 60 days before you lose your number, and the sim is deactivated. Don;t quote me on that. I only let it lapse for 3 weeks. However there is no gain, because you still get charged the system access fee even for the time inactive when you put money in.
