I have been comparing Petro Canada with Speakout for the 519 southern ontario region. I would prefer PetroCan except their local calling area seems to be much smaller. I called three 7 eleven stores closest to me in London, only to find out the stores were bankrupt. I called one of the remaining 2 stores in town and they said they had the old phones but none of the new ones. Is this company going bankrupt? I do not want to buy a phone and then have the remaining two stores go bankrupt. I almost bought a Petro Can phone because of the 7 elevens dropping like flies, since they have lots of stations in town and you can top up online, though they don't have 365 days on the cheap topups, but 120 days on the 25$ voucher would be ok. If I thought they covered 519 along with 416 and 905, I would go with them, but it seems only Speak Out has such a great local calling area. If anyone can shed any light on these two topics, please speak up.

The 7-11 at near where I live has been going strong for the past 13 years. I am quite familiar with the staff there because I see them so often. I think it's just isolated location that are not getting enough customers & sales.

Only two stores left in the city of Windsor. That's why I went with PetroCan. Local calling area is only 519. 416 and 905 are long distance calls.
