Not too fond of the Nokia phones offered at the moment but do think the "prepaid" concept is THE way to go.

Has anyone bought an "unlocked" phone then use a SIM?

Considering this option..comments welcome

Many people use an unlocked phone with a SpeakOut sim. I'm using one now. A search of the forum will help you find more.

I've had great success with phones locked to the Rogers network, and they usually have fairly decent Rogers handsets at Walmart at great prices.
