Hi,
I've been looking into the expiration dates for vouchers, as I want to purchase two, and use one to top-up my account next year.
I've read in a forum that it it expires in 90 days. I called and they said 6 months, and someone else said 30 days. I asked in the store and they said it expires in 365 days from purchase, whether I activate it now or later. Contradictory messages!
I then went looking through the terms on the website and found the following:
"You must add your 7-Eleven SpeakOut Wireless refill card to your 7-Eleven SpeakOut Wireless account within one year from the date of purchase, as the Card/PIN expires."
Does this mean that I have 1 year to activate my voucher, and then 365 days from activation before I need to top-up again?
Any insights would help a lot! Thanks.

First off, welcome to the site!
Yes, you have 1 year to activate the voucher. All vouchers are good for 365 days, so you will have a year before you will need to top up again.
There is also some good reading on the home page of this site, but of course the information found on the official site trumps all other information.

Yes, the vouchers used to have a time limit to activate it but now it has changed and it DOES NOT expire . It should still be activated before the one year is up though to save any minutes you might have left.
Yes, they DO expire 1 year after purchase. I would suggest you get your facts straight before posting.
Since you are new here, I suggest you read the rules of this site, and especially the rules on the official SpeakOut site.

I said that "it should be activated within one year" in my post. The voucher used to expire within 90 days I believe but now it does not have an expiry date but of course it should still be activated within 1 year because otherwise all time is lost and the the phone number is gone within 45 days after that. I'm sorry but it is Speak Out that is confusing everyone and not I, well not intentionally anyways. Even the clerk in the 7-11 store was confused by all this.

As I said, vouchers DO have an expiry date, which is 1 year from the time it was purchased. It doesn't confuse me. All that information is readily found on the official SpeakOut site.
As far as store clerks go, most of them are clueless. They are there to sell Slurpees and such, and many of them do not have product/service knowledge of SpeakOut.
