My speakout phone has an expiry date on Apr 22, does it mean that I can still call before 11:59:59pm that day? then suddenly at 12:00am, my number becomes invalid?

Is it wise to refill your minutes on the expiry day? I plan to refill on Apr 22nd, but a bit worried.

If the airtime is expired, the account/number will remain valid for 45 days. After that, the number will be reassigned. I usually refill the day before the expiry. You can refill on April 22nd. You won't lose the number.

If you still have credit on your SIM card, you can still let your phone account lapse for 6 days past expiry. You will not have any phone service until you top up, but you will not lose your previous credit after you top up. After 7 days past expiry, you will lose your remaining credit.

after 45 day past expiry, you will lose your phone number, and your SIM card will become invalid.

which means I can safely topup 7 days after the expiry date? still have $77 in the account and see no point top up too soon.

I would not push it past 6 days myself. Here is the CRTC wireless code, http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/info.....ht/t15.htm
