I finally had a chance to try out this simple calling usa sim card in the USA, it worked.
Calls are a bit pricey but texts are 15cents, however texts do not arrives to MTS customers, call do, Rogers texts and calls arrive fine.
That morning I left, I took out the 7-11 sim card from my Iphone 3GS, installed the Ekit sim card at home, put in the pin #, activated Canada / USA service off the Ekit web site, the phone hooked on the Rogers network, once i crossed the US border on the way to Grand Forks ND, the network switched to AT&T, the phone worked in Grand Forks, ND.

I found the service quite good especially if you make sure your service is activated. No activity for a week or so can deactivate. Pricey???? It is .59 for the first minute but .09 for each additional with mine in the US and to Canada, so not too bad. Especially if you talk a few minutes. 10 minutes to Canada can be $1.40 which is a lot better than most prepaids I think.
