Question on minutes expiration

Do minutes for prepaid on most carriers such as Telus; virigin, & Rogers expire each month based on the actual month or one month from time of purchase. The reason I am asking is with the rogers boxing day offer of a $49.99 with a activation credit, will the credit expire in dec or be good until the same day next month? Wondering about this for minutes on prepaid cards also?

I haven't read the fine print on all company's websites, but generally the airtime expires 30 (or 60 or whatever) days from when you start, not calendar months.

I got a Rogers Pay as You Go phone on Dec 20 and activated it the same day, got the $50 activation bonus which is to expire on Jan 19, 2009.

So Rogers' Pay as You Go minutes are expiring 30 days from the time of activation unless you buy the $100 top up voucher which gives you minutes that valid for 365 days.

Hope this helps.

With the exception of Speakout and Rogers, any other providers with 1 year-expiry?
