Perhaps someone who has Rogers Pay-as-you-go can interpret this for me. I emailed Rogers to ask about charges for incoming calls from the U.S. Their answer:
"Your Rogers pay as you go incoming calls are free as long as you are in your local calling area. With Rogers Paygo you are never charged for incoming long distance, only your local airtime rate according to your Paygo price plan.
Wherever you roam within Canada your phone will automatically pick up its new local calling area."
Do they mean that if you are in your Original
local calling area there is no charge for incoming long distance calls, and if you are anywhere else you pay the local call rate? If your phone automatically picks up its new local calling area when you roam, aren't you always in your local calling area? Confusing!!
