I found this promotion at reflagdeals. For $75 a year you have choice of either unlimited local Canadian text messaging or unlimited local evening and weekend calling. 40 cents a minute otherwise.
There are a few catches though (of course) The promotion ends Feb 5th, and there is a 75 cent 911 fee. There is also an additional 43 cent or so 911 fee in some provinces. But even with the extra fees, this still costs less than $100 a year. If you can wait when the next Loblaws tax free sale comes around, you know where to get your Rogers $100 airtime card.
Rogers SIM cards can be found for less than $5 on eBay, more anywhere else.
Voice mail and caller ID are also included. However, it might be wise to disable voice mail, because you get charged 40 cents a minute if someone calls and leaves a message on your voice mail out of the evenings and weekend period.
