I just heard an ad that says you can use a Wind SIM card in the U.S. Even with their Pay and Talk, all calls are 20¢ a minute with no roaming charge. Will Speakout ever offer this service so we can use our phones in the US?

I doubt it, but who knows what the future holds.

It would sure save me from having to have my separate U.S. cell phone which I rarely use, but still have to pay for. It's also cheaper than Speakout, being only 20¢/min. I guess I'll simply run out my year of what I've already paid on my 3 phones and move to Wind. That is, unless any of you out there can give me an idea of why I should stay with Speakout. I appreciate your comments.

SO was never meant for per minute usage. If you look at that, it means it is the wrong carrier to choose . That said, SO is actually 20/min if you take the 25 bucks bonus credit which runs at least twice a year.

I also have a separate U.S. phone for my travels into that country. I have a T-Mobile "Gold Rewards" SIM that I use. That phone costs me $10/year to keep active.
