I have a unlocked samsung galaxy and a petro sim card, so far I can only use this phone for calls, is there someone who can help with setting up internet and using text? please help any advise is appreciated.

i don't think you can. blackberry needs support from the provider side to unleash its feature which SO doesn't have. SMS however should be a standard feature you can use.
