I am new to cell phones and do need some assistance. I was hoping to sign up with mobility.petro-canada for their "Anytime Plan" for the up to 365 days.
However, I was looking at the LG Encore GT550 Unlocked Cell Phone from TG. It has Bluetooth and is GSM, 4 Band.
Do not know if it is compatible with Petro Canada's Plan. Cell must be GSM/HSP and compatible on 850 and 1900 MHz frequencies.
Sorry if this does not read proper but I really do not understand compatibility since the LG phone's frequency is not mention.

It should be compatible. Quad-band typically means these frequencies:

850
900
1800
1900

I have never had a cell phone and think now is the time for me to "upgrade".
