does the petro browser work good, i mean is it only text, does face book work with photos or is it just text ? i wanted to get the service with a samsung nexus s.

It should be the same as the Speakout service.

Browsing, Facebook, Twitter, Mail (Activesync), and Youtube all work on the iPhone. You can probably ask about your particular Android phone model in the SO forums.
