First off........great informative forum!!! Secondly, has anyone found that the Petro Can mobiles vary GREATLY in price from the site to the actual stores? I have called about 6 locations and it the price even differs from store to store! The last place I called was in Gravenhurst and these are the prices I received
Nokia 1208 - $81.59 vs website price - $49.00
2610 - $142.69 - not found on website
2760 - $175.67 vs website price $80.00
3555 - $220.27 vs website price $79.00
Am I missing something here???

Well, I called customer service and let them know my issue. They really couldn't give me an answer. The manager of their mobility program gave me a call yesterday and agreed to sell me the phone of my choice and have it sent to my address at the proper cost. I would say that is good customer service. I just hope they get their outlets in order.

The minimum wage employees at those PetroCan stations have not bothered to update the signage at the store.
Most likely when they scan the phone at the register the correct price will come up. If not, well, then you can always walk away.
I tend to agree with you. When I bought my first phone at PetroCanada the Arabic guy Told me that you can not return it.
So check it now. When I installed the SIM the phone did not work and I had to call them. They checked and said it will work after some time. They ave me number.
The point is PC mobile states o its web site that you can return within 30 days if you don't like it. So I complained and they response was: Sorry we will check why this happened. They confirmed web site is correct and got details of the person, time and place of purchase.
So Yes the people at stores they have their own rules. Same like 7-11 about writing Driver license etc on back of receipt.
The store employees are wrong.
