7-Eleven Speakout SIM for sale $75

I have several sim cards (10 sim cards, that's ten sim cards) for sale. $75 each. If you want the phone, that's an additional $25.

Pickup only at my condo, GTA, specifically, McCowan and Steeles (specifically, Alton Towers Circle).

Phone numbers are all 416 area code, with $5 of activation credit still included in phone.

Basically, brand new, unused, 416 area code, sim card and for $75, it's yours.

There seems to be more buyers than sellers on this board looking for SIM cards. I think you can charge more, just by being patient.

I'm willing to purchase all 10 (ten), care to do a deal? On another board in HoFo, they were saying a typical sim price is $25, though I can't find anyone selling $25 sims. More buyers than sellers here for sure. I think your price is right on. Area code 416, too!

The 7-11 phones out there at the stores are all mostly 647 area codes (who wants THAT area code? That area code just says l.o.s.e.r. all over it--remember that Seinfeld episode?

I'm in the GTA, north Scarborough area.

You should read the FAQ's.
The area code the phone or SIM comes with is COMPLETELY irrelevant.
All it takes is 1 call to SO customer service to get whatever area code you want ( free ).
Considering that one could buy a complete 1600 phone ( brand new, with charger, SIM, etc. ) for $ 75.00, I think asking the same money just for the SIM is a little " gutsy ".
But then again, any item is worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay for it.
Btw., a brand new REPLACEMENT SIM from SO is $ 25.00.

Ok, thanks for the offer anyways. I'll just wait until May to buy the $100 worth of airtime + free phone.

I contacted customer service using 611 on the phone. I had area code 647, Toronto, which overlaps with 416 area code, also Toronto.

They wouldn't change my number because it's the same city.

Their call centre is outside Toronto, in Mississauga. Anyone successful doing this area code change that is in an overlapping area code? For example, Vancouver is area code 604, but overlaps with 778.

Anyone have any success changing area codes that are

    within the overlapping code

I may have to contact the OP for his deal.

I doubt they will do that because the reason for overlapping ACs is that there are no more new 416, 604, 519, etc. numbers available. In any case, the overlapping ACs soon won't look so strange once more people are assigned numbers from those pools.

As for paying $75 for a SIM, I suppose it's OK if you're desperate enough. I'd just wait for the next "free" phone offer where I get the phone, SIM and $100 of airtime for $100.

This person is way too greedy. He is charging a ridiculous price for the SIM card. Like others have said its better to wait since the old promotion will probably start again.

I guess its all about supply and demand.
