When you purchase airtime, the buyer gets a receipt from the storeclerk.
This receipt has an " Authorization " number printed on it.
When you call your SO account and enter this number ( which the seller will give you ), it applies the credit amount to you account.
I.e. you don't have to physically be in possesion of this receipt.

And if someone purchases airtime from someone posting on this site - there is no problem activating the minutes even if you are not the original buyer?
How about SIM cards - can someone use a SpeakOut SIM - originally purchased in one city - in any other city across Canada? Most likely, the buyer of the SIM would want a new number [i.e., local area code] - any problems doing that?
