Was hoping anyone out there can help me.
The phone I have will only accept the older model sim card that Speakout used to sell.

I have a new U0.2 sim card (403 area code with $5 credit) and $75 credit.

I will trade that with any SIM card that does not have "U 0.2″ written on it.

I got one with the first SO phone I bought a couple of years ago. When it didn't work with my existing tri-band phone I took the SIM back to 7-11 and traded it for a U0.2. I'd be surprised if these old SIMs are in current inventory. AFAIK you can't "cross-swap" phone numbers and SIMs so I doubt anybody who has an older SIM and is using it today would be willing to swap with you because they would then lose their phone number (as well as airtime credit.)

yeah, you're probably right, but I have heard of people using the old phone as an Emergency In-car phone. They wouldn't be using the number for anything except for having a phone in the car if they get in an accident.

It's worth a shot, though!
