Hi I got a 2760 phone as a gift for a friend. It works well. The one annoyance we have found is that the main display automatically blanks after the phone has been opened for a while. It is particularly annoying because it will blank whether the phone is idle or not. You could be in the middle of inputting a phone number, and the display goes blank after its predetermined delay period.
We have tried every combination of time related settings -- screensavers etc to do with the main display and none change the seemingly fixed time that the phone uses turn off of the display.
There is another post in the forum here that talks about the phone turning off -- but we have not experienced that -- it is on -- you just can't see what is happening until you either flip it closed and open again, or hit the rocker button -- each of which can reset what you were trying to do when the screen blanked.

Has anyone found a setting that works to either extend the time for the main display blanking, or to disable it as long as the phone is "flipped" open?

Been there tried those before posting -- no joy.
I get the warnings about those settings using more power, then the setting shows as changed and very shortly after that the display blanks once more until I close the cover and open it again or hit a key -- which usually resets what I was in the middle of doing when the display went black.
