Hi there,
I was just wandering how to activate the mailbox on my phone.
Do I have to call my own number to reach my mailbox?
Anything else I have to do?

Yes, to activate call your own number using the cell phone. You also want to change your password.

It depends where you are which number you should use, but I was told this is the number for Speakout users in the GTA to use to check their voicemail:
+1-647-669-9989
It might be different for you, but calling your own number to access your mailbox will not work.

The default password is usually 11111, unless your phone was previously used by someone else and they had returned it to the store (in which case you'll have to call customer service to reset it).
