I activated new SO SIM card. It works in Nokia 1661 but when I put it in Rogers Blackberry or in unlocked quad band Motorola v220 they just show "No service".

I notice that nobody has responded to this and am wondering why. Having recently purchased a new 1661 and SIM, I am thinking of moving it to an unlocked Blackberry. I did try using the SIM in an unlocked Samsung 1661-J700i and it worked fine but as this phone performs very poorly, in the weak signal area where I live, I moved it back.

I am wondering (as well) if that might be the reason why your SIM will not work in your Rogers Blackberry. Perhaps you are simply out of range of the signal but the 1661 is able to pick a signal up.

Yes. You are right. Motorola was out of signal. I tried in my backyard and it worked.
For BB I had to change "Network mode" in "Mobile network options" to 2G and it worked.
With "3G & 2G" it didn't work.
Thanks
