For short term use, ditch the slow speakout data plan, I did. When I need data, use the fast 3G Bell ipad plan. Done for data access on a iPhone 3GS.

Great Idea, although not having phone service while the Bell SIM is installed wouldn't work for me. Is there a way to tie Bells pay and talk service in to the same SIM?

Thank you! You also got my interest. Do you notice anything that got crippled, like SIP VOIP? or youtube with flash?

I want to clarify the costs.

$35 a month for 6 gigs
$10 for the microsim
$10ish for microsim adaptor on Ebay.
$35? for activation?

It that about right on the costs?

I suppose since you do not have a Nokia e71 or an unlocked data stick you would be able to tell me if that would work. But if anyone else tried it already....
