Hi,
I was thinking about getting a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini pro 2 SK17a or i. I'd like to get a physical qwerty keyboard for the texting and I want to be able to check facebook and email when at a WIFI hotspot. Will this phone work for this using SO? On other posts I've noticed that the Android OS is not recommended for SO. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My main issue with the Sony Ericsson Xperia line was that it took a long time to get the latest Android OS, and the older versions were not very good. The version of android that comes with the Xperia Mini pro 2 is pretty good, the hardware is certainly nice!
As for this phone working with Speakout, you will be able to call and text without issue, and data through wifi will be fine. The only issue would be with Speakout Data, you can only browse web pages with android on speakout, unless you root the phone any play around with IPtables.
