Got a new factory unlocked BB Z10. I cut my regular 711 SIM card (which was used on a BB 9360) into micro SIM card. And then put it into the new Z10. Everything is OK except APN settings. Z10's settings is different from 9360.
APN name: goam.com
User name: wapuser1
password: wap
On the Authentication Type case, there are TWO options: PAP or CHAP.
I tried both, none of them is working.
Because the SIM was working on a previous device before, they probably put something on it that I can't changed. Do I need a brand new micro SIM?
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I had the same issue back in May with my unlocked Q10. There were reports on Crackberry and the official BB support forums that some European SIMs would automatically update the APN settings, but even there it wasn't possible to manually change them. After much frustration and being bounced between S/O and BB tech support, the conclusion is that the APN settings on BB10 devices in Canada cannot be changed, even on "unlocked" phones. Perhaps this will change in 10.2.

APN can be changed on a BB Z10 to work with SpeakOut. I just did it and I would like to share with you what needs to be done.
Unfortunatelly there is no way to change that in the screen that is presented to the users, but only in the engineering screen.
1- go to your BB Z10 engineering screen. ( search google for that ).
2- Once you're in, go to GENERAL RADIO and there you find an APN entry. Remove the lte.. something default entry and put rogers-core-appl1.apn
3- get out, restart your phone and you're in business...( data should be enabled )
