I am having a hell of a time getting browsing set up on the Nexus 4. I am using these settings:

Name: Speakout
APN: goam.com
Proxy: 10.128.1.69
Port: 80
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap
Server:
MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 720
Authentication Type:
APN type: internet+mms

Are there any other settings anywhere I need to use to make this work?
The phone is unlocked and rooted. I have tried this with and without ProxyDroid running with these settings: Proxy Host: 10.128.1.69 Proxy Port: 80 Proxy Type: http

I'm frustrated beyond belief. What am I missing?!

eta: It was working. For about 15 minutes. Then I went back on wifi, and never got it working via 3G again.
eta2: I called customer service to have a refresh sent to the sim card. It did nothing. And the customer service was less than friendly (the second time - first time was great).

I have my MMS Proxy set for 10.128.1.169 I do not know which is correct.

It is hard to say if you have a typo, or something is wrong with the phone or SIM. If you could find a phone with known working settings, that would make life easier for you, and easier to troubleshoot.

I think your MMS proxy is a typo, it should match the web proxy.

I'm not sure, but your APN type may be incorrect. Normally, I've seen commas (,) instead of the plus (+). I have a Nexus 4 as well and use a star (*) in the APN type and that works for me.

I was having the same problem with my nexus 4, and read your post. I finally found this http://thekidd.ca/blog/tech/sp.....on-android The settings are slightly different but it worked a charm and I am surfing the world wide web again (I am switching from a 3GS)

DUDE! Thank you so much! It's working! Hallelujah! Now I have to root it again (my kid did an OS update. *facepalm*) to get the proxy to work, but at least she can browse! WOO!

I am going to go buy a cup of coffee for a homeless person, I'm so happy!
