C3 Communications Error w/ Mail App

Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with my problem. I was using the mail app on the C3 to get my gmail and sympatico e-mail and had no problems until my 2 months free data/texting bundle expired. I then signed up for the unltd. browsing only and since that point have only been able to get e-mail on the app through wifi, not edge. I keep on getting a "Communications error. Try again later message."

I've tried removing and reinserting the battery, and well as deleting and then re-adding the accounts (both suggested by customer service). Doesn't work. I see similar problems reported on the internet and have tried some suggestions there but either I am doing something wrong or I have a different issue than what others are reporting.

Please help! I am beyond frustrated with this as e-mail at the push of a button when I am out of wifi range is what attracted me to the C3.

I haven't been able to get it to work, nor the communities feature. I just created bookmarks for my email and FB pages.

Good news! I called Speakout again and this time the customer service rep noticed that I had "the wrong data plan" activated on my account. I take it there are two types of data settings, one for the old phones and one for the new ones. She put me on hold for a few minutes and when she came back on everything was working again. Hurray! GD6, maybe this will work for you. . . .
