C3 email not connecting through wifi

Hi folks, hope someone can advise me!
My email won't connect on my C3 for the past few days. I get error messages like inbox not available, or communication error, or else it just reverts to the account selection screen. My wifi connection and email account both work fine on other devices, and I've switched the phone off and on a few times. Any other way to reset things?

the C3 email use Nokia's aggregator service which I found to be quite iffy(one of the reason I sold it).

if everything fail, you can do a factory reset.

okay, flying to restore factory settings, but I don't remember putting in a security code!
is there a default code for a C3?

i believe default to 12345 or 00000, google is your friend.
