Can someone try going to
http://www.shoutcast.com/
on their Nokia C3 using a Wi-Fi connection
and playing one of the radio stations.
Post back here if the music playback works and if the music plays uninterrupted.
Thanks.

I tried this yesterday, using my home wifi access point. When I used the browser to go to http://www.shoutcast.com, I got a message which indicated that a "new version" was coming. Sorry, I don't recall the exact wording, but it suggested to me that the website knew I was using mobile device with (or without) certain capabilities, and that the web site could not yet support my device.
I think I have also tried using my C3 to access http://www.cbc.ca, to try and listen to their live feeds, but I don't think the live feeds were offered on any of the menus I was shown.
I have to admit, I have not done any thorough experiments on this...

Thanks for checking for me. Can you also try to see if the radio stations at
http://www.di.fm/
work and play correctly?
Thanks.

I did go to http://www.di.fm, with my C3 and with my PC. I think one of the problems is that your target device needs a media player that can play streaming media, and the C3 "out of the box" does hot have such a player. I did some searching, and could not find a current stream-compatible player that would work on the C3. Apparently, Nokia had one in their Beta area, which some people previously used with their C3, and it worked fine. However, the beta version of the Nokia Internet Radio application was recently moved from beta to "released", and the released version is not compatible with the C3.
When you access http://www.di.fm from your PC, and navigate to one of the available "stations", you select the station you download the "address" of the source in a file with extension .wax, .pls, or .asx, depending on the format and bit rate you wish to listen to. Then, your PC media player can be used to select and play that streaming source.
The same would happen in a mobile device, as long as you had a media player that could access streaming media, by means of those .wax, .pls, or .asx address files.

There a lot of java radio apps for shoutcast.com, fm etc. and you can also add some radio station by yourself. anyway, I like watch tv or billboard online use C3
Ae you doing it via the built-in media player over wifi or UMB ? I found that it has issue over wifi(most likely because of NAT) but works fine over UMB. Or are you using some other apps ?

Can someone using the Nokia C3 try going to these websites and testing to see if the music plays for not?
Just open up the link and the music should start playing automatically.
http://www.sky.fm/play/dancehits
http://energy981.com/listen.php
Please let me know if it works or not and whether or not you can get this working on WiFi and/or cellular internet. If the music does play, does it play continuously or does it stop every once in a while? I want to thank all the members who are doing the testing for me.
