Cannot connect to SpeakOut

My phone works with a Rogers SIM card first of all. I can see the SpeakOut network in the list of networks. When I choose that network in Android Network settings "Can't connect to this network right now. Try again later".

I have tried to activate on the website and keep getting the error message:
"An error occurred on the backend system that prevented the process from completing successfully. We could be completing some routine maintenance. Please try again in a few hours."

Is there anything I can do to activate or what is the missing step?

It worked shortly after posting this. I guess perhaps there was some routine maintenance?
