I'm with SpeakOut and when I make calls to the customer service by dialing 6-1-1, the volume of the customer-service agent is incredibly low. I have to basically guess what they're saying...and that's in a quiet place. In the public, it's literally inaudible. Calling other numbers works good though in terms of volume. Help? Thanks in advance

I noticed the same thing the last couple of times I called in but I thought it was just me and/or my phone connection. Thanks for confirming it's them and not me.

I wonder they're using VOIP or something

I experience that a while back, and I recall asking the CSR to put the microphone closer to their mouth, of which they did. Problem solved.

Yeah, I just had to talk to them to activate a SIM card and I could hardly hear her. I told her about 4 times that I couldn't hear her but in the end it didn't matter since she just went ahead and activated the thing. The part I needed to hear, as in Good To Go, I heard. But it sucks for sure.

It was a while ago but I'm pretty sure I asked them to move the mic closer. I think it made a bit of difference but it was still a struggle to hear them. It's good to hear (pun intended ) at least that it's not just me thinking I was losing my hearing.
