This is how I got the unlimited SO data working on my Motorola Quench running Android 1.6. So far, I can't get the apps to work, but I haven't tested them all. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks to member andreww for the APN info. For this thread go here.

Download Skyfire Web browser at the market. This browser just happened to work, the default browser and other ones may work as well, I just haven't tested them.

1. Turn off Wifi, wait a minute just to make sure it's disconnected

2. Go to Settings/ Wireless Controls/ Mobile Networks/ Access Point Names/

3. Delete ALL APNs there. Then, press settings button (or equivalent) and "Reset to Default"

4. Change the one it created to these settings:
Name: Rogers
APN: goam.com
Proxy: 208.200.067.150
Port: 80
Username: wapuser1
Password: wap
Authentication protocol: Not set
Sever: Not set
MMSC: Not set
MMS proxy: Not set
MMS port: Not set
MMC: 302
MNC: 720
APN Type: Not set

*NOTE: These settings may be different for different regions. For a list of other possible settings, go here (post 7 by andreww)

5. Press settings, and then "save"
6. Go back into Access point names, and make sure there's a green dot beside your new apn
7. Power off
8. Power on, make sure wifi is still off
9. There should be either a G or an E in the notifications bar with 2 small arrows underneath. Test with Skyfire browser. If it doesn't work, try all the steps again with different settings. The settings above work for me, and I'm in the Manitoba region.
