Hi there,
First timer here. My son and I have been using SO for a couple of years - phone & text options mostly. Now my son wants to buy a Nexus S off Craig's List for his SO sim. Has anyone done this? Can you use home and free hotspots to connect to the internet for free?
thanks for the advice,
Jennifer

That phone is too new to me! Speakout voice and texting should work on this phone if it is unlocked. You can use home and hotspot wifi also.

As an option, you can subscribe to Speakout's $10 a month data plan, so you can web browse without being near wifi. You get a better experience with wifi though.

You won't get 3G speeds though as the Nexus S uses a different band for 3G that Rogers doesn't support.
