I have an Alcatel phone, and I'd like to use it access the wireless internet in my home. Can I do this without the data plan? How please?

The Alcatel phone offered by Speakout does not support wifi. You would need to subscribe to a data plan, and if you do that, the browsing experience would be awful. If you need to browse, it is strongly recommended you get a better phone.

Not knnowing the Alcatel, I have to agree with bridonca though.
I can access WiFi with my iPhone but even at that it is a PIA with the size of the screen.
