Hi,
If I buy a speakout phone and take a picture or a video with the built in camera, how does one get that picture/video either on to a computer harddrive or, by sending the picture to a friend? I couldn't find any mention of this on the web.
Thanks,
Frank

You could purchase a USB cable compatible to your phone, and transfer pictures that way. Probably the best option. Another expensive option is to switch the sim to fido, rogers or whatever sim has a data plane and transfer the pictures that way.

Hi Bridonca,
Thanks for the info an the education! My friend has a contract phone with telus. The pics taken from their cell-phone are emailed/downloaded off the web & I think telus charges $0.50-0.75 (i'm not certain of the exact cost) per picture that is retrieved.
I was wondering if this was the same for Speakout phone system. The info on the web about their pre-paid program suggests there are no data or multimedia capabilities.(so that means no pic./video transfers or wallpaper/ringtone downloads, correct?); but if a usb cable is available that would answer my original question. Many thanks again for your input and your time.
Sincerely,
Frank

If the phone has blue tooth use a pda with blue tooth and transfer to it. Or you can get a blue tooth adapter for USB, no software required, for about $2 online and transfer to your laptop or desktop that way.B

If your phone has room for a flash card, get one, transfer photos to it and then transfer the photos from the flash card to your PC. I don't know if any of the Nokias sold by SO have flash card support.
