Ok, so I read up on the imessage issues with Speakout and the iPhone.
Has there been any updates on the issue as the other posts are a bit older.
It works when I have wifi of course at home, and sends it via my email. Just wanted to double check there was no easier way since to set it up via the phone number?
It's not a big deal, but just checking.
The OTHER issue I am having is that when the wifi is unavailable, Is the iMessage not suppose to switch over to 3G and use SMS through the carrier and send as a normal text?
It's not doing so, and I have to manually turn off iMessage all the time in order for it to work, even though it's clearly selected to send as an SMS when iMessage is not available. It's a pain to switch over all the time when IMO it should automatically know when or when it's not available.
Thanks
PS everything else is working like a dream on the iphone 4, which I have unlocked. Yeah Speakout.
