iphone 3G unlimited browsing - activation issues | Phone/Device Issues and Features | Consumer forum

I activated the unlimited browsing feature on my iphone 3G several months ago and it worked great. Last week I decided that maybe I didn't need that feature anymore so I deactivated it on-line. Obviously the feature stopped working. Now, I've decided that I want it again, so I re-activated it on-line. My on-line account information shows that it is activated and the accound balance is reduced by $10, but it is not working on the phone and I didn't get a text saying that it is activated. Is there something else I need to do? Or do I just need to wait a while longer? It's been about 8 hours or so since I activated it. I cycled the phone power off and on. I have 3G enabled under the network settings, but no 3G symbol shows up on the top of the screen.
