The problem is that with 3G Unrestrictor you are still running through the Rogers proxy. With YouTube, the network checks that you are on a phone, then limits the usage. 3G unrestrictor simply fools that "check" and the restriction is not applied. Remember, YouTube already works with SO, its just limited. VOIP however doesn't work, its just blocked. Likely the problem is that these apps require various ports other than 80 to be opened and the Rogers proxy has them all locked down. Good to know that there is a way to unrestrict YouTube though, may be worth buying just for that!

Thanks andreww, thats what I suspected as learned from your previous posts. Appreciate the feedback. Would be nice to know when this port blocking is resolved, in the meantime I will plug a rogers sim into my Jb iPhone & remove the profile & see if that works to confirm. Will let you know, if it does..
