Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone here could help me with figuring out how to make calls using the unlimited browsing option? I have unlimited browsing and set up the unlock for that. Is there any apps that would work to either make or receive calls?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Don't bother. Skype has the best chance, but the quality through the Speakout proxy is so horrid, it is not worth the hassle. Anything SIP related will not work, no matter what.

+1.

it makes little sense to use VOIP on a mobile phone, especially incoming. It eats up battery fast even on normal full feature data(or wifi) like what I am trying now using virgin mobile tablet plan which has excellent coverage in my area.

If you needs to talk a lot, get a plan that allows that like chatr's unlimted talk and text.

SO's user profile has always been for infrequent users who spend less than $20/month. If you really want voice, there's mobilicity. $12 for unlimited text and talk.
