Guys, I have a 2g Iphone which has been "jail break" to work with Speak Out. It works fine except I can't retrieve my voicemail.
Does anyone who is using a Speak Out SIM with an Iphone know how to retrieve their voicemail?
When I press the Voicemail button on the handset its says it can't connect.

How To: Activate the Voicemail Button in Non-AT&T Unlocked iPhones
If you have successfully unlocked your iPhone, you may have discovered already that the voicemail button doesn't do anything at all. It won't give you visual voicemail, but you can easily get the voicemail button to work using any carrier following these steps:...

I am interested to know as well. Could anyone share the correct instructions to setup speakout VM for iphone. Thanks
Edit-Tried and it works on my iPhone
Depending where you are: Select the phone number where you are located-
The Roger's voice mail numbers work:
BC:
+1 (604) 418-3471
Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba:
+1 (403) 561-3172
+1 (403) 714-1188
Ontario:
+1 (416) 274-2817
+1 (416) 357-3229
+1 (416) 358-1549
Quebec & Maritimes:
+1 (514) 827-1251
---------------------------
First, take note of what your voicemail number is with your current provider (for example, in Ontario(Toronto) the voicemail number is 1(416 274 2817).
2. Click on the phone button in your iPhone.
3. Click on the keypad tab.
4. Tap the following code:
*5005*86*1 416 274 2817*xxxxxxxxxx#
The xxxxxxxxxx is your Telephone number,
5. Tap call.
6. After a second, the code will have been set.
7. Tap now on the voicemail button and it will automatically call your usual voicemail service.
After that all you gotta do is tap in your password and you're in the VM

Sup guys. I just set this up on my iPhone 3GS and I used the 2nd number for Toronto. The first one kept adding an extra digit after I punched in my passcode (e.g., if you code is 1234, the system adds 12344 or similar).
Anyway, the second number works like magic!
Thanks for finding this guys.
Cheers

Do you know what the voicemail # would be for the St. Catharines / Niagara region ?
Try any of the 416 numbers.
Even though they are area 416 (Toronto) numbers, you aren't charged anymore calling them than you would be calling a St. Catharines number. I'm in Niagara Falls, and my voicemail number is also a 416 number.
