Hey guys, im having some trouble getting my sim card to read. I have followed the steps clearly and correctly to my knowledge for the cutting procedure. I have added some pics, I was wondering if I have possibly cut it wrong, or is there something else I am missing?
Thanks alot,
Sam

Hi andreww, thanks for your reply.. The phone is an iphone 4, unlocked from apple. I am currently using telus prepaid, the phone works fine. I just wanted to move to SO for the cheaper rates. I can easily buy another sim card, and start again, its just that I followed the cutting instructions perfectly; so im not sure what I would do differently on a second attempt?
Cheers,
Sam

Maybe the edge contacts of the cut SIM is touching the metal tray? Before I throw out the cut SIM, I would place some scotch tape along the edge contacts of the SIM (or tape along the metal part of the SIM tray). This will prevent the tray from shorting out the contacts. I think the iphone 4s SIM tray already has that insulation tape, but not the iphone 4.
