Hi everyone,
I'm working with a refugee family new to Canada and trying to get them the cheapest possible access to the internet.
Is it possible to use a SO SIM card in a USB dongle, plug it into their (donated) laptop to allow them basic web browsing capabilities? Which dongle would you recommend? (Are there specific wireless ranges it needs to support?)
As much info as possible would be helpful! I've never used data/SIM cards before (I have a "dumb" phone provided through work) so this is fairly new to me.
Thanks!

It's against this specific part of the TOS:
"7-Eleven SpeakOut Wireless Unlimited web add on cannot be used: (1) for access to the Internet, intranets, or other data networks except as the device’s native applications and capabilities permit, or (2) for any applications that tether your device to laptops or personal computers other than for the use of Wireless Synch."
Please read the rules before you post.
